Neyveli City Guide
Neyveli is well organised and a well planned township of Tamil Nadu. Started by Neyveli Lignite Corporation in 1956, the township falls under Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu and covers and area of about 53sq km. Because of its close proximity to Puducherry and Chennai, it is an important tourist destination for people visiting nearby cities. Though small in size, the city has a cosmopolitan culture because of its amalgamation of people from different communities.
